80th anniversary.

The company is preparing for its jubilee – 80 years of operation.

The company obtained ISO 27001 and TISAX certifications.

Grupa Kety celebrated 70 years of existence.

Two new certificates obtained: ISO 50001 and ISO 3834-2.

The company received the umbrella accession certificate Socially Responsible Employer and the award for Best Employer of Podravje.

The company entered the automotive industry market and received the Family-Friendly Company certificate.

The company celebrated 75 years of existence.

A year marked by the COVID-19 epidemic; the company successfully overcame it with the help of the state.

ISO 14001 certification obtained. Transition from OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001.

Successful certification according to IATF 16949 and OHSAS 18001.

The company also obtained AEOC authorization.

The company came under 100% ownership of Aluform Spolka, z.o.o., Poland, from the Grupa Kety S.A. group. This opened new perspectives and possibilities for fulfilling the set mission.

Aha Emmi, d. o. o., was renamed Aluminium Kety Emmi, d. o. o.

One of the most modern anodizing lines in Europe began operating, intended for decorative anodizing of aluminium.

The company AHA Aluminij, d. o. o., became the main shareholder of Lesnina Emmi, d. d. The company was renamed Aha Emmi, d. o. o.

“Becoming the European Center of Excellence for Comprehensive Technological Solutions of Aluminium Components” became the company’s vision.

To realize its newly adopted slogan “For aluminium with glance”, the decision was made in 2005 to build and launch its own aluminium anodizing plant.

Lesnina Emmi exhibited for the first time as an independent exhibitor at the world’s largest aluminium fair in Essen, Germany.

The company became an authorized exporter. New CNC machining centers, saws, CNC milling machine, welding robot, bending machines, and deburring machines were purchased. In addition to individual aluminium components, demanding final products also appeared in the product range; customers no longer requested only mechanical processing, but complete technological solutions.

The company deliberately developed in construction and development. Mechanical processing was joined by assembly with other materials, surface treatment, and packaging for the end consumer.

The company was privatized as a joint-stock company.

The production of various aluminium products expanded significantly.

Successful certification according to the ISO 9001:1994 standard followed.

In mid-January, the Republic of Slovenia was recognized by the European Union. Lesnina Emmi solidified its position in the demanding Western European aluminium market.

The company Lesnina TOZD EMMI moved to newly built production facilities in the industrial zone of Slovenska Bistrica. A new, modern line for profiling and welding aluminium strips was purchased.

Company management strengthened the Western European orientation of its operations, but most market activities still took place in the markets of the then-common state.

EMMI joined DO Lesnina – a business system for production, engineering, and trade in wood, furniture, interior furnishings, and other programs.

The production program expanded. The company became a supplier to some Western European companies.

An additional activity was registered – the production of all types of aluminium products. The company acquired equipment for profiling metal strips by cold rolling and began processing extruded aluminium profiles.

The company was renamed Packaging and Carpentry – EMMI.

It dealt with wood cutting, production of wooden products, and carpentry. It secured better working conditions by adapting and constructing facilities on the edge of the city park.

The beginnings of today’s company Aluminium Kety Emmi date back to 1946, when the company Žagotrgoles was established in Slovenska Bistrica.

It dealt with the purchase and sale of wood, sawing, and the production of wooden crates by special order.
