ActivitiesAluminium Processing

Modern machinery gives shape to the material. According to customer wishes and plans, semi-finished products intended for further assembly or final products for direct sale are manufactured.

Surface treatment of aluminum

Aluminium’s versatility is ensured through appropriate surface protection, as raw aluminium oxidizes quickly in the air. Its natural protective ability through oxide layer formation is significantly improved by the anodizing process. The treated surface is resistant to weather, mechanical, and some chemical influences. High-quality and aesthetically demanding bulk component anodizing is ensured, with a focus on special effects.

Examples of treatments: VZORCNIK.pdf

Maximum workpiece size: 3500 × 600 × 1550 mm.

Mechanical and chemical pre-treatments

Aluminium products gain a special appearance through mechanical and chemical pre-treatments. Minor surface defects are removed, and a uniform look is achieved, preparing the surface for further treatment.

Pre-treatments:

E0 Etching
E1 Grinding
E2 Brushing
E3 Polishing
E4 Brushing and grinding
E5 Grinding and polishing
E6 Satin finishing
E7 Electrochemical polishing
E8 Mechanical and electrochemical polishing
E9 Blasting

Mechanical pre-treatments

Polishing
Can be automatic or manual. Achieves a smooth, shiny surface with minimal material loss, free of scratches.
Grinding and/or brushing
Removes major surface defects and creates a uniform appearance.
Sandblasting
It is performed using various media (glass, metal, etc.), which help remove certain defects and damages from the surface, while primarily ensuring a uniform surface finish.

Chemical pre-treatments

Degreasing
A three-stage process: pre-degreasing, degreasing, and rinsing. Removes impurities like oils and dirt.
Etching – satin finish and alkaline etching
Gives a matte appearance that varies depending on alloy, surface condition, temperature, and processing time.
Electrochemical polishing
Gives aluminium a glossy surface.

Anodizing

An electrochemical process that creates a thicker oxide layer on aluminium, protecting the surface and enabling various color shades through additives.

Color surfaces

Natural aluminium colors (C0)
Electrochemical colors:
EURAS shades (C31–C35)
Stainless steel look (ES1–ES3)
Interference colors (blue, grey, green)
Chemical colors (C3, C8)
Custom-developed colors

Aluminium surface treatment also includes engraving (mechanical or laser), screen printing, and pad printing. These services allow for further customization and marking of aluminum components as per customer requests.

With carefully selected long-term partners who follow the company’s quality and efficiency policy and meet customer requirements from target industries, additional operations such as passivation, KTL, powder and wet painting, and others are also ensured.
