As a family-friendly company, we understand that employees have diverse responsibilities. We’ve implemented a number of measures to make it easier to balance professional and personal life.
When planning shift work, the company takes employees’ responsibilities into account. With manager approval, employees may switch shifts if production processes and societal conditions (e.g., epidemiological situation) allow it. This measure enables occasional shift swaps, not exclusive work in the morning shift.
Employees in production not working flexible hours and who have already completed 8 overtime hours in a month may choose to either be paid for additional overtime (up to the legal limit) or accrue the hours as time credit. This does not apply in the case of temporary reorganization of working hours.
Parents are granted an extra day off (special leave) to attend their child’s 9th-grade school information day. If both parents are employed at the company, one may take leave (or exceptionally both if they have twins, triplets, etc.).
Employees may request adjusted work conditions (job role or hours) due to responsibilities such as caring for elderly or disabled family members. Each request is reviewed and answered within five working days.
Employees whose roles allow remote work may work from home under exceptional circumstances (e.g., minor illness or caring for a recovering child). Approval by a manager is required, and work is counted as regular hours.
An Open House Day is held every three years, inviting employees’ family members. It includes a company tour, social activities, and information on measures for balancing work and family life.
Free events and excursions are organized for employees, often including family members. Annual events include sports games, professional trips, holiday gatherings, family hikes/picnics/open house days (rotating), and a Christmas event with gifts for children up to age 12.
Gifts are given to employees’ children (up to age 12) for New Year and to newborns.
