At Aluminium Kety EMMI, we are aware of the importance of sustainable development and social responsibility, which is why we have integrated our care for employees, nature, social environment and energy efficiency into the values of our company, which already set out the basic general competences we expect from our employees. We undertake to respect deadlines and mutual agreements of every kind, to take expert care of the personal and professional development of our employees, to manage our resources responsibly and to promote respectful mutual relations, ethical and fair treatment, the responsible handling of materials and financial resources, a careful attitude towards nature and the efficient use of energy.

In addition to ISO 9001 – quality management system and IATF 16949 – standard for automotive industry suppliers, the company has successfully obtained the ISO 14001 certificate environmental management system, the ISO 50001 certificate – energy management system and the ISO 45001 certificate – occupational health and safety system. Our company also boasts the status of an Authorised Economic Operator – AEO and is certified as a Family-Friendly Company, as we put a lot of effort into the optimal work-life balance.

Safety and health of our employees is high on the company’s priority list. We provide employees with all the necessary personal protective equipment, provide a safe and stimulating working environment and carry out numerous health promotion activities. We promote the development of the local environment, sponsor the NK Kety EMMI&Impol Slovenska Bistrica football school and club, support and donate to local associations and organisations as well as participate in the Botrstvo project.

In addition to conducting energy audits, we have introduced an information system for monitoring energy products. Since the company also includes a woodworking division with a sawmill, we use waste wood for the production of thermal energy, room heating and technological processes (drying of wood, anodising, etc.). Excess heat from the compressor station is used to heat the renovated kitchen and the administrative building. We have our own solar power plant. One of the steps towards sustainable development and corporate social responsibility is membership in the Green Network of Slovenia, where companies can exchange good practices.

The management of Aluminium Kety EMMI undertakes that our actions and decisions will continue to be in line with the guidelines of social responsibility and sustainable development.
