The company is aware of our responsibilities to employees and the environment in which we operate. Therefore, we direct the company’s activities by introducing safety measures within our capabilities, improving working conditions, reducing the risk of injury and health damage as well as negative environmental impacts, while implementing energy efficiency measures.

Care for health, safety and the environment is our responsibility and our right. All persons working under the supervision of our organization should be aware of their obligations and rights in the field of occupational health and safety, environmental protection and energy efficiency.

We have established a system of health, safety, environment and efficient use of energy, which is embedded and developed in all the company’s processes.

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE SYSTEM ARE BEING ACHIEVED BY THE FOLLOWING MEASURES:

• In our operations, we comply with legal and other requirements for fulfilment of compliance obligations.
• We are developing all new and existing activities by including and studying the impacts on health, safety and the environment, as well as on efficient use of energy. We do the same with purchasing and development procedures and activities. We regularly assess the system and take action in terms of prevention and improvement. Improvement is achieved by setting system goals and determining measures to achieve them.
• With the available work equipment, processes, procedures and financial resources, we constantly try to reduce the impact on health, safety and the environment or to maintain the current situation and implement measures for efficient energy use.
• We use appropriate measures to eliminate risks, replace dangerous procedures with less dangerous ones, introduce appropriate technical, organizational and administrative measures, and provide appropriate personal protective equipment.
• As part of health promotion programs, we encourage employees to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
• The management sets the goals of the health, safety, environment and energy efficiency system and the plans to achieve them.
• We inform all employees and new employees about the policy and requirements of the system and cooperate with them on relevant issues related to health, safety, environmental management and energy efficiency. The health, safety, environmental and energy policy is publicly available on our website and on the company’s premises.
• We work with stakeholders in open and cultural dialogue, thus contributing to the success of society’s joint efforts to improve health, safety, environment, and energy efficiency.

Successful implementation of the health, safety, environmental and energy policy requires the commitment and personal responsibility of all employees. By our personal example, the managers will contribute to improve safety culture of employees and achieve a positive attitude towards the environment and the efficient use of energy.
